February
Temperature: 75–78 degrees

Most Common Fish Caught: Striped Marlin, with smaller Yellowfin Tunas coming in

Most Common Fish Caught: Sea Bass, Snapper, Grouper and Cabrilla. Yellowtail start to come in towards the middle-end of the month.

Most Common Fish Caught: Striped Marlin and Dorado. Inshore you’ll typically score Yellowtail, Spanish Mackerel, and Skip Jack.
May

Humidity: 60%
Most Common Fish Caught: Bigger Marlin and Dorado. Inshore you’ll start to catch some Rooster Fish.
June

Humidity: 65%
Most Common Fish Caught: Striped Marlin is the number one catch, but you may also score Tuna, Blue Marlin, and even Wahoo! You’ll be sure to score some Rooster fish and Grouper inshore.
July

Most Common Fish Caught: Bill fishing is the best in July—Striped Marlin and Sail Fish with the occasional Blue Marlin. Wahoo is another big winner in July (one of the most delicious fish to eat and an aggressive fish to reel in!). Inshore you may find Rooster fish up to 40–50 lbs.
August

Humidity: 70%
Most Common Fish Caught: Sail Fish flourish during this time and we see 300+ lb Black and Blue Marlin. Yellowfin Tuna is also prevalent. Inshore you will see Roosters, Wahoo and Dorado.
September (One of the best fishing months)
September is considered one of the best fishing months. Make sure to check the weather report, as September does have the occasional tropical storm.

Most Common Fish Caught: Large Yellowfin Tuna and 300+ lb Black and Blue Marlin are more common, as well as Wahoo, Dorado, and Sail Fish.
October (Best month for fishing)
October is the best month for fishing, which is why most of the big tournaments are held this month.

Humidity: 70%
Most Common Fish Caught: Anglers expect to catch 300+ lb Yellowfin Tuna and Black and Blue Marlin, plus large Dorado, Wahoo and Sail Fish. It is a very busy time in Cabo San Lucas and charters need to be booked far in advance because of the demand.
November
Temperature: 83 degrees
Humidity: 50%
Most Common Fish Caught: Dorado, Sailfish, Striped Marlin and Tuna offshore. Inshore there are Wahoo and Mako sharks. The WON Tuna Jackpot Tournament is early November—be sure to plan around that, as the most boats are in the water at that time.
December (Best weather of the year)
Temperature: High 70s, low 80s
Humidity: 65%
Most Common Fish Caught: Striped Marlin, Dorado, Wahoo and Yellowfin Tuna are all on the menu. Inshore you’ll most likely see Sail Fish.
