Things to Note

Reception + Deposit + Wristbands

  • Security deposit: A $500 USD refundable security deposit (cash) is required at reception upon arrival. It’s returned at departure as long as there’s no damage and no rule violations.

  • Wristbands required: Guests must wear the guest wristband while using common areas.

Pool Rules (7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.)

  • Use the pool at your own risk (management is not responsible for injuries/accidents).

  • Minors must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

  • No glass (cups, bottles, containers) and no cans/aluminum containers in the pool area.

  • No pets in the pool area.

  • No speakers/boomboxes or music devices that may disturb others.

  • No denim shorts in the pool—proper swimwear only.

  • No eating or drinking in the pool or on the pool edge.

  • No intoxication in or near the pool area.

  • White towels only in the pool area.

  • Failure to follow pool rules may result in temporary or permanent loss of pool access.

Jacuzzi Rules (10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.)

  • Shower before entering.

  • 20-minute max per session.

  • No glass in or around the jacuzzi.

  • No pets.

  • No eating or drinking in or around the jacuzzi.

  • Use at your own risk (management is not responsible for injuries/accidents)

Gym Rules (6:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.)

  • Not available to vacation rental guests: The gym is exclusively for owners and condo residents.

  • Minors may only enter with a parent/guardian.

  • No food, no smoking (any form), no alcohol.

  • Users are responsible for any damage to equipment/facilities.

  • No inappropriate behavior that could damage equipment/facilities.

  • No pets.

  • No speakers/boomboxes.

  • Proper athletic attire required: no barefoot, no flip-flops, no shirtless use.

  • A personal towel is required; wipe machines after use and return equipment clean and in its place.

  • If music is played, volume is controlled by management.

  • Use at your own risk (management is not responsible for injuries/accidents).

Parking

  • Parking spaces are numbered and assigned per unit.

  • Each unit has two parking spaces.

  • Do not park in any space not assigned to your unit.

Occupancy

Common Areas (Important)

  • No visitors: Guests may not bring visitors into common areas (pool, parking, gym, terraces, event hall).

  • After checkout: Guests may not use or be in common areas once their stay ends.

(Uber availability at the airport can be limited—taxis or pre-arranged transfers are often the smoothest option.)

FAQs

Is the water safe to drink?

Yes. The building has a filtered water system that makes the water safe for brushing teeth, washing dishes, and rinsing fruits and vegetables. For drinking water, there is also a dedicated drinking-water filter located next to the kitchen sink.

What restaurants are within walking distance?

Beachfront within ~5 minutes (walk): Zipper’s, Pescadito Break, Mariscos Costa Azul & Seven Seas (walkable at low tide)

Within ~10–15 minutes (walk) Retro Burger, El Pancake House, Mamma Mia & Fabric Sushi

Is there parking available?

Yes. Las Olas offers on-site parking for guests staying in the complex. Parking is first come, first serve in the unshaded parking area, and each condo is allocated one parking pass/space for the duration of the stay.

How far is the airport?

Las Olas Condos are located about 15–25 minutes from Los Cabos International Airport (SJD), depending on traffic. We recommend taking the toll road, which is typically the fastest and most direct route to San José del Cabo. The toll is usually around $3–$5 USD.

Drivers can also take the free highway, which goes more through local streets and may take a bit longer depending on traffic.

If you'd prefer not to worry about directions, our team can also help arrange airport transportation with a trusted local driver who will meet you at the airport and bring you directly to the condo. Many guests also choose to stop at the grocery store on the way to stock up before arriving.

What extras are provided?

Guests have access to a private surf locker that includes:

1 soft top surfboard and 1 boogieboard, 4 beach chairs, 1 beach umbrella and a beach cooler.
